Make-Ups /Missed Classes

​​MISSED CLASSES & ABSENCES

• If you know your child will be absent ahead of time, you may submit your absences through the Parent Portal, or contact us via email at scarletknightsgymnastics@gmail.com.
  

MAKE-UPS ALLOWED

• Only one make-up per session, per child, per class enrolled will be permitted. Exceptions may be made if your child is severely sick/injured with a doctor's note (see below), or is absent for religious holiday observances (must be approved ahead of time by director). These exceptions will only be made IF there is availability to do so.

• PLEASE NOTE: Make-Ups are first come, first served, and are NOT guaranteed. We have limited make-up slots that are first come, first served, so we recommend that you please schedule your make-up as soon as possible. If you know your child(ren) will be absent ahead of time, you may schedule a make-up prior to absence (but child will not be able to attend previously scheduled absence, even if their availability changes)

• More make-ups may be allowed due to sickness or injury, but doctor's note/test result may be required. This is at the discretion of the Director.

• Any abuse of policy may result in loss of privileges in scheduling make-ups, or even enrolling in future class sessions.
  

MAKE-UP SCHEDULING & POLICIES

• Make-ups must be scheduled at least 12 hours ahead of time with our office staff by emailing scarletknightsgymnastics@gmail.com.
  

​

• Make-ups will be scheduled by attending the class of their age group/level during another day and/or time, based on available openings, within the session of enrollment. Make-Ups/Absences DO NOT carry over to future sessions (NO EXCEPTIONS).

• It is the parent/guardian’s responsibility to schedule, and have your child(ren) attend their Make-up Days by sending an email. Submitting absences via the portal does not automatically schedule a makeup.
  

​

• Make-up slots are first come, first served. Please do not wait until the last weeks of a session to schedule make-ups. We have limited spots available, and if they are already full we cannot add more spots or carry them over to another session.

• If you do not attend and/or cancel a previously scheduled make-up at least 12 hours before, you forfeit that make up class. 
  

​

• Make-Ups are not carried over to the next session, no refunds or credits will be given for any missed classes.
  

​

• Missed Classes due to injury/sickness: If there is class missed due to an injury or severe sickness, extra make-ups may be issued ONLY when a doctor’s note is received. Please do not bring your child to class sick! This is at the discretion of the Director.
  

• If classes are cancelled due to weather or unforeseen circumstances, an additional make-up opportunity may be given, whether scheduled individually, or an additional day is added to the calendar.
