​Drop Off/Pick Up: 
Please have your children arrive at the gym on time and ready to participate in time for the warm-up. The warm-up is important so your child can stretch properly, lowering the risk of injury. Please walk your children in and out of the building when arriving or departing. Drop off and pick up outside the venue is not permitted. If your children are leaving early, or are being picked up by anyone other than a parent/guardian, please alert the instructor or class director before class starts.

  • If your child is 5 or under, it is recommended that you stay in the building during class. Our staff is not permitted to be alone in the bathrooms with the students that need help, or change any diapers for those who are not potty trained.
  • Please have your children wait quietly in the seating area for their instructor to start class. Adults and children are not permitted on the equipment or in the equipment area before or after class. During class, all siblings & adults (unless participating in Parent & me class) must also remain in the seating area. If a parent is needed on the floor to console a child, or during an emergency, they will be instructed to enter by a staff member.
  • ​We are only responsible for your child during the time of their class.Please drop and pick them up promptly. We are not responsible for supervision before or after their class. 


Attire: 
Proper attire is required—either a leotard or well-fitting shorts and a shirt. Jeans or skirts are not allowed. If the shorts or pants have drawstrings, make sure they are properly tied and secured well. Loose strings can get wrapped around the bars. All hair must be pulled back out of the face, all jewelry off (stud earrings are okay), no gum or food.  Your child(ren) should be able to go sideways or upside down without any visual obstruction or clothing falling over head. Children will not be allowed to participate with hair down! Bare feet for all. Socks get lost in the pit.  We will not save socks for the lost and found.

Food & Drinks: 
It is recommended that your child bring a water bottle for breaks. We also have a water fountain in the hall for your convenience. Water bottles are the only drink allowed in the gym, and must be kept in the seating area. Food and other drinks will not be permitted in the gym.  Anyone wishing to snack at this time must go outside the facility.

Payment & Enrollment Policies:

  • Cash and Checks will be the only accepted form of payment. All checks should be made out to ‘Scarlet Knights Gymnastics Academy’, or ‘SKGA’. If any checks are returned from the bank, a new check will need to be written (or cash can be given), with an additional $15 added to the balance for the returned check fee.
  • Session Registration and Tuition Fee will be due upfront for the entire session on or before your child’s first class. There will be a $10 late fee added for every week late. If your payment is not received by your child’s third class,  your child(ren) will not be able to participate in the class until payment is submitted. If you cannot pay the entire session upfront, please contact us for alternate payment options before your child begins class. We will work with you. You will be charged for all remaining classes in the session from the date of registration. 
  • PAYMENT PLANS: All payment plans are done on a case by case basis, you must contact us before your child begins class to be eligible for a plan. Please keep in mind that if you have a plan (half or monthly), you are still committed to the class(es) for the entire registered session and all payments that are due for that session. All payments must be received by designated due dates, or there will be a $10 fee added every week late. If you still have not paid 2 weeks after the due date, your child will not be able to participate in any future classes until payment is received.
  • Registration can occur at any time during the session, as long as there are open spots in your desired class. We prorate our tuition accordingly!! Please contact us for the most up to date class availabilities and prices. You will be charged for all remaining classes in the session from the date of registration.
  • All classes are first come, first served. A child’s spot will not be saved unless we have received a completed registration form, and a payment. If you are interested in a class that is currently full, ask us about being added to the wait list.
  • A minimum of three children must be enrolled in each class, or the class maybe cancelled or combined with another. If the class is cancelled, your child will have to move to another day and/or time.  You will be contacted if this should occurSKGA reserves the right to cancel or combine classes due to low enrollment.
  • If there is class missed due an injury or severe sickness, credits or extra make-ups can be issued when a doctor’s note is received. The amount of the credit or make ups days will be based on the dates that are listed on the doctor’s note.  All credits are given on a case-by-case basis, determined by the class director and/or owner. No credit or refunds will be given for any registration fees, or missed classes due to other circumstances.
  • ​Our facility is NOT AIR CONDITIONED. No refunds or credits will be given due to these circumstances. If the temperature rises above 100 degrees, classes will be cancelled, and an extra make-up will be given.


Make-Ups/Missed Classes:
Only two make-ups per child, per class, for the Fall & Winter/Spring I Sessions are permitted (Only one for Spring II & Summer). Make-ups will be done by attending the class of their age group/level during another day and/or time, based on available openings, within the session of enrollment. These must be scheduled ahead of time with our class director via email. It is the parent/guardian’s responsibility to schedule, and have your child(ren) attend their Make-up Days. If you do not attend and/or cancel a previously scheduled make-up at least 12 hours before, you forfeit that make up class. Make-Ups are not carried over to the next session, no refunds or credits will be given for any missed/enrolled classes.

If classes are cancelled due to inclement weather or excessive heat, an additional make-up opportunity will be given, whether scheduled individually, or an additional day is added to the calendar.  

Lost and Found:  
We are not responsible for items left in the gym.  We do our best to place lost items in our lost and found box.  DO NOT BRING VALUABLES TO CLASS.

Conduct of students, siblings, and parents:

Treat other gymnasts, parents, and instructors/staff members with respect.  There should be no rude or belittling comments, yelling, displays of anger or disgust, or talking back to anyone.  No rough play will be tolerated.
