By enrolling in our sessions, our families agree to review and follow all rules and policies stated below, and those emailed to them. In addition, by registering, they also confirm that they have been following all recommended guidelines (mask wearing, social distancing, washing hands, etc) not only in our facility, but in their daily lives. Any refusal, or failure to follow these guidelines and procedures will result in loss of enrollment in classes/practices without refund.

Please note: These protocols are subject to change at any time based on regulations passed by Rutgers University or the State of NJ. Please check this page and/or emails regularly for updates.

GENERAL

  • Should classes or the facility be shut down for any reason (as per government orders, high Covid/Illness numbers, etc.), classes will be held virtually at the same day/time as their normal class. No refunds/credits will be given.
  • Starting May 15, 2022: Masks will be optional for all vaccinated (& boosted, if applicable) gymnasts, spectators/parents, and staff. All gymnasts/parents/spectators/staff are still  encouraged wear a mask if:
    • They are showing symptoms during their time in class or in the facility (our staff members are permitted to ask child/person to wear a mask if this be the case, unless under he age of two.)
    • They have recently returned from travel within the last 5 days (unless a negative test is taken within 2-3 days after travel).
    • They have recently been sick, had symptoms, or have been exposed to ANY illness (not just Covid-19) within the last 7 days.
    • They are not fully vaccinated

  • All staff, gymnasts, and families are required to follow best practices associated with Covid-19 and other infectious diseases, including the following: staying home when unwell, frequently washing hands/sanitizing, self quarantining according to state guidelines when traveling, possibly exposed, or infected.

  • All participants and household members must notify the Office Staff/Director if they have tested positive for Covid-19, or other infectious illness, or have been exposed to someone who has. If a child or family member is quarantined due to possible exposure, symptoms, and/or a positive test, we recommend you please stay at home for 7 days from symptoms or positive test. We will try our best arrange make-ups for any days missed.

SANITATION & CLEANING

  • There will be a sanitation station at each event for students to clean their hands between events/stations if they desire.
  • Mats will be fully cleaned as often as possible with an EPA approved cleaners. They will be cleaned minimally each day by Rutgers janitorial services and/or our staff.

ENTRY/EXIT PROCEDURES

  • If possible, it is preferred that you drop off your child at the front door.
  • Check in at the Front Deskto confirm your child has a class or make-up that day.

  • To minimize persons inside the building, you and your child may not enter the building more than 15 minutes prior or after the start time to your child's class.

RETURN TO CLASS AFTER EXPOSURE, POSITIVE CASE, or TRAVEL

  • SKGA will follow all State and Rutgers Guidelines for Recurring Programs (Not Events)
  • Return to class from a positive Covid-19 result, or other sickness:
    • If the child(ren) and/or a member of the household had been in close contact with an individual who tested positive for Covid-19, they may return to class after 7 days from initial symptoms or day of positive test result.
  • We will try our best to schedule any make-ups for those who miss due to quarantine or sickness. Doctor's note or test result may be required.

Please do not bring your child to class if they, or a member of their household, is sick  or diagnosed with any illnesses or symptoms, or have been exposed to any illness. We will try to figure out a way for them to make-up the classes when possible, later in the session when they are healthy, or have quarantined.

Any gymnast, spectator, or family member that refuses to comply with the above policies will be asked to leave with no refund or makeups, possibly permanently.
